senDsor reads the data from your phone’s sensors and plots them on graphs with configurable sample time and data buffer size.
This allows you to determine how often to read the sensors and also how many sensor readings to keep on the graphs, for example read the sensors every 0.1 seconds and keep a scrolling 5 seconds worth of readings.How often to read the sensors is the sample rate and how many readings to keep is the buffer length in seconds.
After readings have been collected for an amount of time equal to the buffer length time, new readings push older readings back and the oldest reading is discarded.senDsor allows you to save the data collected and displayed on the graphs as csv files so that you can share them with other people or apps or use them in your preferred data analysis tools.There is also the option to connect senDsor to an MQTT broker to constantly publish the sensor readings as they are collected.
This makes real-time sensor readings available to a wider range applications enabling tasks such as home automation, health diagnosis, indoor navigation, etc.The sensors in the initial release of senDsor are:GravityMagnetic FieldsGyroscopeUser AccelerationMore and more sensors will be added in upcoming regular updates of senDsor as well as integration to major internet of things (IoT) cloud platform vendors such as Azure, Google and AWS.User feedback is also very welcome to help to prioritize which sensors are added first and also what new features are added in the regular updates.
